Hey guys! If you have been sleeping on Hairveda products,it’s time to get up! I reviewed their deep conditioner a while ago and described how yummy and nourishing my hair found it. I recently got the chance to try the moisturizer and I have to say that for my 4b/c hair, it is simply swoon-worthy.
Product Promises: “Red Tea Moisturizer is our newest blend. Rich with argan oil and rooibos tea, Red Tea moisturizer is sure to please. Red tea moisturizes all hair types effortlessly adding a satiny feel and softens throughout the day.”
Tunrie’s Review: The Red Tea Moisturizer does deliver on its promise. It has a slightly watery consistency and is reddish-brown in color. I moisturised my dry hair with this product without sealing and 24 hours later, my hair is still soft and a bit shiny. I also used this product on freshly washed and clarified hair WITHOUT sealing and my hair is still soft and manageable.

Tunrie’s Review: I think Hairveda may have switch up the packaging but this one I have is a pump bottle which does a nifty job considering that the product is not so thick. When the product eventually runs low then I’d have to turn it upside-down or cut up the bottle to get to the rest of it. Regarding its fragrance, on a scale of Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in cloyingness to a solid ten, I’d rate it an 8, why because it is not so fragrant hence it doesn’t linger. It just gets the job done.
Though this product doesn’t have as much slip as Kinky Curl Knot Today, it did an impressive job as I detangled with a wide-toothed comb.
So far, I have used this product on dry dirty hair, I plan on using it on wash day as well to see how it works with my hair in different conditions.
In terms of the efficacy of this moisturizer, I’d give it 5 stars.
