I recently jumped on the eyeshadow train again after trying to highlight and contour to no avail. I figured I could up my eye makeup game in the meantime.
Remember, my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette? The one I struggled so much to use? Well, turns out it was a shimmery eyeshadow palette. So, in order to have a decent look, I had to get a good eye primer as well as another palette which would serve as a transition color.

I was particularly drawn to this palette because of its earth/nude colors. For someone who isn’t a fan of bold colors, this was perfect for me. When paired with my Urban Decay Naked 2 palette, it works as a perfect transition color. Sometimes, I even prefer to use it alone.
The palette comes with 15 colors which are matte and not very pigmented. You would need to use an eye primer and apply heavily to get the most of the colors. Best believe, no matter how heavy-handed you are, it blends well with the dark skin tone. It also has a big clear mirror and an eyeshadow applicator which is pretty much useless. Urban Decay products are probably the only ones that come with the right two-in-one brush.
I’ve enjoyed using this for a while now. I wouldn’t be buying any eyeshadow palette anytime soon.
