This product contains papaya extract (a natural skin whitener). It gently exfoliates your skin by removing impurities and dead skin cells for radiant glowing skin. With the combination of Vitamin E and Olive oil, these also help retain skin moisture balance and prevent early aging signs, giving your skin clean and healthy soft.

INGREDIENTS: Soduim Chloride,Glycerin, Soduim laureth sulphate, Fragrance, Olea Europeae (olive) Fruit oil, Curcuma Longa root powder, Tocopheral acetate(vitamin E), papaya Extract, Cl 14720, Cl 15985

My thoughts:

1. This product could have been a nice addition for a DIY from common products from the kitchen (e.g salty and sweet face mask) but it’s a shame that the papaya extract is almost at the end of the ingredient list, meaning its percentage is really low.

2. Instead, color is added to make it look orange……’s a waste of money if you’re looking something good for the skin! I can whip this up myself in the kitchen….Manufacturers should name products well and try not to deceive people for money.

3. I thought sodium Laureth Sulpahte is found in shampoos???? I wonder what it is doing in an exfoliator…okay  I need to research.

I add few drops of palm kernel oil and coconut oil when I use this product for an extra nourishment for my skin.

People,if you’re looking for something to use for a DIY then this is your product but if you’rE looking for something rich, then try other exfoliators e.g Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Exfoliating facial scrub

  1. Thanks for sharing… I noticed the papaya effect in this scrub is very little and same goes for the colour..obviously not from real pawpaw…it comes in different colours too, so that means the colour is very artificial..however, i still use it since it’s the closest exfoliant i can get around. I mix mine with some lime to get the tone effect and after that i moisturize my whole body with Olive oil or my body oil/Nivea lotion..Sometimes i use it on my face, but thats when i have mixed it with olive oil to reduce roughness on my far, it’s been ok..when i don’t see this, i take some sugar and olive oil and scrub my face…so much for DIY body exfoliants….

Please leave a comment: it will really make my day!
