I didn’t lose any weight this week! Well, I actually added some and took it off! Last week Friday, I starved all day and was very ravenous that night. I went to watch a movie and took the biggest size of popcorn! Then, Saturday, I had meat pie and fish roll! Sunday, 4 big slices of pizza. By Monday, I knew I had my work cut out for me.
Breakfast: Same ol’ plain yoghurt and cereal. For my cereal, I actually prefer Alpen because it’s unsweetened. I also take plain yoghurt for the same reason. When there is no added sugar, it’s more healthy and you usually get fewer calories. You can get whole cream or fat-free yoghurt but I’m indifferent about that. I buy my Alpen and plain yoghurt in Nigeria from Spar-Park n Shop. I also had avocado for breakfast once.
Lunch: I’ll try my best to remember what I had: Pasta, vegetables with shrimps. Yam and scrambled eggs with lots of vegetables. Steamed potatoes and vegetables with mushrooms.
Snack: bananas and groundnuts. Be careful of groundnuts. They pack a lot of calories. Apples.
Dinner: Steamed vegetables. Salad. Chicken. Nibbling my kids’ food.
Exercises I did:
I wasn’t able to go walking this week.
I did Taebo once.
I did Jillian Michaels’ Killer Abs DVD once.
I did 5 days of week 4 of Jillian Michaels’ Ripped in 30 DVD. I’m done with the program but it was so worth it! I lost 5 kg (about 11 pounds). My whole body still aches but it was so worth it. I look slimmer. More pictures of my progress next week!
No starving if I can help it. It wasn’t planned though. It only makes you eat much more than normal!
No weekend bingeing! It gives me too much work to do during the week!
Hopefully, next week the scale will budge! The weight loss journey continues: I’m starting Jillian Michaels’ Six-weeks Six-pack DVD tomorrow!!
