Make a decision to change your lifestyle by changing one behaviour at a time!

In the past, I’ve been through the South beach diet and 17 day diet to lose weight. They did work but I could not sustain the diets when they were over.
Now, I’ve decided to change my lifestyle completely by picking one thing at a time to add on to or change. I’m no longer making weight loss a priority. I think that if I start living and eating healthy, all my weight loss and tummy shrinking goals will be met!!
It is believed that it takes at least 21 days to form a habit. This means that if I continue doing one thing for at least three weeks, it becomes a habit! This month, I’ve decided to focus on exercising at least 6 times a week. So far, I also missed a few days when I hurt my neck (while exercising šŸ˜› ). My two fave DVDs for this month are Yoga meltdown and Six-week 6-pack both by Jillian Michaels.
It’s not very easy making lifestyle changes especially if you decide to do make too many changes at a time. I think your body will just rebel and you’ll end up failing.
