At the beginning of this year I made a decision to step up my makeup game. This meant I had to buy new stuff. Well, we’re in the second half of the year and I’ve been able to lay my hands on a few things. I’m hoping to give my makeup kit a major revamp before the end of the year.
I’d probably do individual reviews later.
1. Maybelline Clear Smooth All In One Powder in Mocha
This powder had been on my wish list and I was super excited to finally lay my hands on it.
2. Maybelline Colossal Volume Express Mascara
Finally, a lengthening mascara. Another product on my wishlist. Awesome stuff!
3. Maybelline Rocket Volume Express Mascara
I got this by accident. It wasn’t planned – totally impulsive – since I already bought the colossal mascara but it was too cheap to ignore. Such a sweet steal!
4. Megaga Professional Brushes in 3,7,20,45.
I needed a new set of brushes and this seemed decent enough and pocket friendly.
5. Classic Jumbo Lip Crayon 4
I’ve never really tried lip crayons so I decided to give this one a go. Let’s just say, it’s a total letdown.
6. Jordana Nude Lipstick
So, the search for the perfect nude lipstick continues. This is my third one and it isn’t my shade either. They might just be good for ombre lips.
7. L.A Pride 2 in 1 Eyebrow Filler and Concealer/Highlighter
This pencil is such a disappointment. The shade is all kinds of wrong for my skin tone. I might just have to toss it until I find an alternative use for it.
8. B & R Baked Bronzer In Rim Spice
I had been craving one ever since I learnt how to properly apply a blush. I’ve used this a couple of times but I’m not quite sure of it. I might need to buy a regular or cream one instead of this baked one.
This products are currently on my mind.
– Revlon color stay foundation
– Maybelline baby lips
– L. A Girl luxury lipstick in Amour
– Eye-shadow & Lip primers
Watch out for them in my next haul.
