Vitamins supplement for a lot that which is missing in our everyday diets. Yes, a lot is missing from our everyday diet as we would rather have a bowl of frosties for breakfast instead of a bowl of weetabix or plain fruits. That’s a pretty generic example but I’m sure you get my point.
Investing in one’s health now with a consistent supply of vitamins should be considered as a down payment for the latter years. I’m no soothsayer but you could save yourself some arthritis twenty years down the line by adding that 5k bottle of 100 caps of vitamins (a mix of calcium amongst others) to your cart and making a commitment to buying them.
Although I’m not a big fan of taking drugs so an easy cheat is to get the multivitamins instead of buying individual ones for calcium, vitamin D and so on. I’d rather take one veggie or jelly cap twice a day that six different caps daily. As for me, multivitamins over individual supplements everyday!
Please keep in mind that supplements not substitutes for diet. As their name implies, they only serve to supplement for that which is missing. The importance of a proper diet cannot be ignored. Your diet is also key, throw in some vegetables and proteins on your plates. Balanced diets are actually easier to achieve than you think – just add some color onto your plates! I’m sure you’d figure out how to do that if you remain committed. Commitment and consistency are also key virtues on this healthy journey. You could set a reminder on your phone to take vitamins and a bottle of water to go with it.
