of all those diet plans you’ve started but haven’t stuck to! Yea, those really suck. Here I am, not to proffer any magic diet plan or super-fast exercise routine but I’m just here to share some really good news with you!

Sometimes, I playfully find myself “counting calories”. Probably because as it is, it’s increasingly hard to eat clean and stay on the healthy lane. You find a bottle of water is more expensive than a bottle of Fanta: how is that even fair?

Now, there are fruits that come quite cheap and actually add no calories at all to your body…in fact the body burns calories digesting them! How awesome is that!?! Some of these fruits add no calories at all and some of them even burn calories in the process but remember people, MODERATION IS KEY! Lemme clarify, this is not to say these fruits carry no calories at all but the body actually burns more calories digesting them thereby making them negative calories! For example, carrots happen to be on the list but don’t eat carrots fried with fat and expect to have no calorie added…erm, you’re just playing and before you know it, it’ll tell on your body!

APPLES, BROCCOLI, CARROTS, CELERY, CRANBERRIES, CUCUMBER, GARLIC, GRAPEFRUIT, GREEN BEANS, LEMON, LETTUCE, ONION, ORANGE, PEPPERS, PINEAPPLE, STRAWBERRIES, TOMATOES, WATERMELONS!

The list goes on and on! So get to healthy eating…you could snack on these fruits instead of those cookies waiting for you in the fridges. You could even incorporate them into your sauces, stews and recipes!

Healthy eating shouldn’t have to take too much effort…a little will go a long way. Plus some of these fruits are cheap too!
