Weight loss journey. A little progress! WEEK 2 {Dr Fomsky – 19/12/2014}

Hi guys. Just a quick update on my weight loss journey.
Last week’s weight: 73.6 kg
This week’s weight: 72.9 kg
Goal weight: 65 kg
Current waist circumference: 35 inches
Goal waist circumference: 29 inches

I worked out 4 days this week and I’ve been doing all sorts of exercises to prevent boredom: Jillian Michaels & Taebo DVDs. On YouTube: Kaeira Lashae, Popsugar fitness and Fitness blender. I have also been using my Polar Fitness watch to monitor calories burned and I aim for at least 750 calories a day (not always met up with this).

Nutrition wise, I have been eating smaller portions, avoiding sugary foods and taking more vegetables. I am not really a salad person so I take more of steamed vegetables or stir fry. Yum!

I’ll be back next week with an update. I plan to do more cardio and targeted abdominal exercises. Hopefully, all the Christmas eating will not make me pack back some pounds!

  1. Hello Dr fomsky, I have a question please. I want to include baking soda as my chelating shampoo by mixing it with my elasta qp shampoo for relaxed hair,then mix my ors olive oil hair masque And elasta qp intense fortifying hair conditioning treatment with honey coconut oil and olive oil and after wards do an ACV rinse, rinse off with water and finally, I would spray my leave in conditioner.is this a good wash day regimen please?

    1. Yes you can add a little baking soda to the Elasta QP shampoo but don’t do this too frequently. Maybe like once a month. I think that the ORS olive oil masque is gentle enough to use it weekly on its own but mixing it with Elasta QP fortifying treatment is not bad as well. Try this out this week and see how your hair feels. The following week, you can then try the ACV rinse and see the difference. It is always a good idea to introduce things gradually so that you know how your hair reacts to each product or method.

      1. Thank you for the helpful response. I wash my hair every 2 weeks and not every week because of my school schedule. I would do the ACV rinse every 2weeks and the baking soda shampooing once every month. I would please like to ask another question, do the green house effect as well as the inversion method work? Are they effective for hair growth? Thank you.

Please leave a comment: it will really make my day!
