Tunrie’s Crochet Braids

I hope everyone’s week is going as splendid as mine?

Honestly I hope yours is much better.

I had my try at crochet braids a few days back. As I went through the process, I wondered why I hadn’t done the style in a while and my answer came after I was done. 5 HOURS is not child’s play! It may have taken me longer though. I watched 3 movies in the process! 3 movies is a lot for someone who doesn’t watch a lot of movies.
This was the result of my hardwork. Hopefully, it would get better with time.

Tools: Crochet pin, my arms, curly extensions

I didn’t like the plastic-y smell so I added a bit of my essential oil mix to the hair before installing.

I had regular cornrows in for the crochet installation.

Find the picture of the hair extension below, unfortunately, I don’t know what market you can find it at but I’m pretty sure you’d find something better.

On the bright side, I have gotten a handful of compliments (you know how I love those ;))

Would I be getting crochet braids after I get these out? Yes definitely. I think the stress and time of its installation is worth it.

  1. Hey, a good job well done…i’m currently wearing crochet braids..i used amigos dancing curls..used only one packet..your hair looks lovely..havent had short curly installs before..wait a minute, is the naomi hair a weave or bulk hair? did you cut the weft or it came just in a handy bundle. share the love sister, i think i need to try Naomi…and yes, unfortunately, crochet installs take 5hours to install and about 2/3 hours for kinky hair…talking from experience…

    looking forward to your reply.xoxo

    1. Hi Olivia! Thank you. The Naomi hair is actually bulk hair, it came in a handy bundle but I did cut it in half before installing it (I think I forgot that detail in the article :D)… Haha! The stress is real but kind of worth it. I hope this helps!
