If you have been following the lifestyle vlogger, Sisi Yemmie for a while now, you would know that about 18 months ago, she had a baby boy. As usual, with the birth of her baby boy came pregnancy weight. Since we are in the season of ‘snap backs’, the new mom has been working behind the scenes to shed her baby weight and regain her pre-body weight and now, she’s ready to share the results with us.
According to her, she went from size 16 to size 10 without hitting the gym. We believe her but when she says she didn’t hit the gym at all, what does she mean? First of all, she explained how she gained weight as a result of her pregnancy and the criticisms that followed. Apparently, she didn’t even know she had ‘added’. It wasn’t until she started buying clothes that she realized that she wasn’t a size 8 anymore so she resolved to lose it.
Now, here’s the interesting part.
Sisi Yemmie was in South Africa three times this year and during the course of her trips, she walked long distances extensively. So, in about six days, she lost so much weight unconsciously in her words, ‘all in the name of tourism’. Lool. This happened three times this year.
So, her weight loss secret? Be active!
Of course, she made some little changes here and there like cutting out fizzy drinks, reducing her portions and drinking more water.
