Since my big chop…

It’s been 5 months now since I did the big chop. I love my twa (teeny weeny afro) and feel so proud to wear it out.

During my CDS (Community Development Service), I met another natural haired sister and it was fun talking about hair care in a totally random location where it seemed no one has an idea about good hair care.  I’ve made some new friends that with natural hair and I have new converts too. Lol.

I’ve been preaching the gospel of good hair care to anyone ready to listen.

Regular black soap, Green radiance shampoo and Dr Bronners (the last two gifts from Ekene at the natural hair meetup that held in Calabar) have been my go-to shampoos.

Elasta conditioner, glycerin  and almond oil has helped me retain moisture.

Right now, my hair is in cornrows and wigging is the order of the day.

How’s your hair thriving?

Most importantly how are you doing?
