One week later (after my last trichologist visit)…. July 29th

So, it’s a full week since I since I went to see the trichologist and started my hair journey. It truly requires a lot of commitment. I can’t believe I once contemplated going natural. I believe men are in phases and life is in stages. I definitely am not in that stage or phase where I can manage natural hair especially as mine is a combination of the 4B and 4C curls. I definitely salute all the sisters who keep their hair natural. Y’all are my heroes. I want to be like you when I grow up!

I have been moisturizing very faithfully. I have kept the combing to a minimal and I have ensured I wore my silk hair cap whenever I went to bed.

It is also 72 hours after my retouch and I need to wash my hair to get out any remaining traces

of chemicals from my hair. I used the Affirm Fiberguard Normalizing Shampoo and then I deep conditioned with Nature’s Gentle Touch product. I liked the end result, my hair felt smooth and I must confess that I have noticed a lot less breakage in my hair… Maybe it’s because I don’t comb it as often though…LOL! I am so anxious to see some change.
