It seems like a lot of women are beginning to embrace IVF as a way out of infertility and Nigerian women are not left out.
The other time, we shared a story about an ex-beauty queen who is helping couples conceive by IVF.
This time, Ruby Suze, a Nigerian vlogger based in the UK is sharing her infertility journey as part of the ongoing National Fertility Awareness .
According to her, she was told by the doctors that she wouldn’t be able to conceive naturally so she resorted to IVF.
4 years ago, I was told that I wouldn’t be able to conceive naturally by doctors. I felt alone and isolated. No one around me ever spoke to me about struggling to get pregnant. 4 years later, I’ve given birth to 2 children through IVF and decided that now is the time to play my part no breaking the silence. It’s National Fertility Awareness Month in the UK and I’ve just released a video on my YouTube channel about infertility journey. This is about raising awareness and breaking the silence, could you help to do that? This is a matter very dear to my heart and a struggle that I’m still facing. I want to lend a helping hand and a praying heart to those of you who are in this process and are waiting for your bundle of joy.
