Last year, we were faced with making an ethical decision whether or not to continue selling our products without being certified by the Nigerian National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). Our M.D, Dr Fomsky, was highly convicted to do the right thing but was not sure of the way to go so she decided to stop selling beauty care products and focus on tools. You can read that announcement here.
While having many sleepless nights on this issue, Dr Fomsky stumbled on something called Global Listing Certification for Supermarkets. It seemed more affordable than certifying each product individually and so we decided to go for it.
To cut a long story short, we are pleased to announce to you that we picked up our NAFDAC Certificate yesterday. It is valid for one year only and so we hope to renew it every year. God is indeed merciful and worthy to be praised!
