[WASH DAY]: Henna/Indigo Follow up

Remember my previous post on dyeing my hair black with Henna and Indigo? Well, I was only able to cover my highlights (combination of henna, hibiscus and chemical dyes) to the barest minimum so it’s really not visible anymore. My hair isn’t still as jet black as I want it to be so the journey continues. I will have to use my henna/indigo mix in the next four weeks but in the meantime, I had to wash my hair and I remembered my Natur Vital Colour Hair Mask

Remember it?

[WASH DAY]: Henna/Indigo Follow up

The one for black hair? Of course! Thankfully, I had only used one-quarter so I had a lot left.

This is how it went down.

Applied Natur Vital Colour Hair Mask on dry/damp hair and left it for about an hour with a shower cap. I’m thinking I need to leave it for a longer period next time.

Rinsed and co-wash with VO5 Herbal Escape Moisturizing Conditioner

Blot water with an old cotton T-shirt which has become a makeshift hair towel.

Deep Condition with Every Strand Argan Oil Hydrating Hair Masque with heat (under Deep Conditioning Thermal Cap) for about 30-45 minutes.

Moisturise using the LOC method with Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in Repair Cream, my oil mix and whipped hair butter.

Result?

My hair is slightly darker than before but it’s not quite there yet but I’m happy with the results so far. Especially since this didn’t take too much time. I might be using over the next coming weeks till my next henna/indigo treatment.
