Hairline challenge June 1st – August 30th, 2014

I did a ponytail last week and I noticed that a little corner of my edges had ‘chopped’. I wasn’t so sure and I let it slide. However, when I was washing my face before bed a few days ago, I saw it properly. I have decided to take some time to pamper my edges and hopefully, it will fill out again.

My ‘Suspect offenders’
  1. Hair bonnets
  2. Scarves
  3. Hats
  4. My face wash and cleanser
My plan for the next three months
  1. No hair bonnets. I’ll use a satin pillow case to keep my hair from drying out.
  2. After washing my face, I plan to moisturize my hair line and seal with oil nightly.
  3. Deep condition my hair once a week and add lavender JBCO and essential oils to my conditioner.

  1. Hi Dr. Fomzy.
I’m in. Unfortunately I fixed my hair and its a close up and so I can’t take a pix of my receding hair line but in a few weeks when I take it down, I will.
So I’ll need more recipes for the hair.

  2. Hi Dr Fomsky, I’m definitely in on this challenge.I’m presently dealing with this. After destroying my hairline with braids and ghana weaving, I had to chop my hair off in Dec 2012. Except for my hairline, my hair is growing very well. Hair around there is growing at a very, very slow rate. I’ve realized the wigs and bonnets aren’t helping at all. For the next two months,in addition to my routine, i’ll be massaging my scalp with a mixture of JBCO, Rosemary and peppermint oil twice daily. Will complement with Hair trigger growth elixir. Will email my starting pic 🙂

  3. Hi doc, I’m i̶̲̥̅̊n̶̲̥̅̊. Buh is the oil available? I checked your stock and it was labelled out of stock.

  4. Hi Doc, I’m in. I plan to do loose buns and leave my front hair out when wearing weaves. I’ll oil my scalp with JBCO every night and moisturize and seal twice a day. I will also massage my scalp twice a day, drink more water and eat right.

I’m not so sure if loose buns will work…I’m might try wigs later.

  5. Hi Dr. Fomsky, My hair is so bad, I am getting bald from the centre of my head. What products can I use to improve my hair growth. I have decided to give myself a clean shave so I may not want to send my picture. Thank you.

  6. I’m in. I’m moisturizing nightly and sealing with either lavender JBCO or grapeseed oil. Satin pillowcases all the way. I’ll email the photo. How do I get the discount?
