Health specialists usually recommend that we should take about 8 glasses of water daily. Some argue otherwise though but that’s a discussion for another day.
In case you’re wondering, 1 glass of water equals approximately 240 ml. If you’re anything like me, you won’t be able to drink up to this 8 glasses of water daily. I hate drinking water first thing in the morning: it makes me want to gag! What you can do is this:
- Make 2 cups of lightly brewed unsweetened tea in the morning. If you like it sweet, you can use a natural sweetener like Truvia Sweetener. This gives 2 glasses.
- After breakfast, take a glass of water.
- Take two glasses of water each with lunch and dinner. This gives a total of four glasses.
- Take one glass of your water before you go to bed.
Altogether, you should have taken your 8 glasses of water. It’s not an easy task to drink all that water but your entire body will thank you for it!
