Combing your hair is something we have to do. If you comb your hair the wrong way, it can cause unnecessary hair breakage.
Use a wide-tooth comb. If possible, look for a seamless comb.
Do not use small tail combs on your hair. These cause a lot of breakage. You can only use them to smoothen the top of your hair If you do want to use a smaller comb, use a wide-tooth comb first. Make sure your hair is well detangled FIRST.
When combing your hair (whether wet or dry), you should never be in a hurry. This is what I advise:
Section your hair into at least 4 places.
Moisturize and seal your hair lightly.
Comb the tips first and then the middle.
Comb the roots last.
Never rip the comb through tangled areas. Use your fingers to separate and detangle FIRST before continuing to comb.
Watch my short video and I promise that you will minimize your hair breakage if you comb your hair the right way.
