It occurred to me the other day when I was at the store that the weather was changing. We’re gradually leaning towards the Harmattan season and my regime will have to be adjusted. I picked up the Boots Traditional Glycerin and Rosewater, a brand which I have never used before even as I’m no stranger to both Glycerin and Rosewater. ‘Why not?’ I thought.
So, what’s up with it?
A cooling, refreshing beautifier that softens and moisturizes the skin. This toner and moisturiser is lanolin-free and works well as a toner before using a skin cream.
This product is formulated and produced by Boots Skin Care Specialists from traditional ingredients.
Hmm, sounds good.
I know right! I didn’t even think twice before buying even though after careful analysis of the ingredients, I spied a paraben (you know, one of those things we’re supposed to beware of)
Aqua, Glycerin, Isopropyl alcohol,Boric acid, Methylparaben, Parfum,Vera
Vera as in Aloe Vera?
Anyway, I try not to be too judgmental as these products have been well-formulated. As long as the good stuff comes first, I have no issues.
What about it?
Frankly, it’s nothing short of amazing. I’ve been using it for a while now and I love how it gently moisturizes my skin after cleansing. In fact, I’ve had to semi-retire my ACV toner. If you know me well, you’ll know that I don’t joke with this toner. I even use it as a base before applying makeup. Again, this has displaced my NIVEA aftershave which acts as my moisturizer.
Funny enough, it’s as good as homemade rosewater and glycerin. I bet there’s a method to this formula which makes it stand out.
All in all,
Yass to Boots Traditional Glycerin and Rosewater. Nothing else to say, it’s perfect!
Just get it!
