3 Texlaxed Hair Bloggers Who Have Gone Natural!

Let’s jump straight into this one!

Uzoma of Don’t Touch the Hair

I haven’t met Uzoma yet but I think she’s one of the most patient people I know. Why do I say this? I think she successfully transitioned from texlaxed/relaxed hair for over a year! That’s such a feat! Solange’s Don’t Touch My Hair reminds me of her blog name. She also contributes to this blog and I find that she brings a special touch of awesome to the Sizzelle blog! We love having you on board.

Dabs of NaijaHairCanGrow

We recently did a feature piece about Dabs and her very recent big chop. Bonus tip: of course there’s a video too! She likens her big chop to being liberated! Yes!

Dr Fomsky of the Sizzelle Blog/The Sizzling Mommy

Our very own Dr Fomsky took the bold decision to chop off her texlaxed ends. Coincidence? I think not! Guess what? Her kids loved it and so did I!

You may be wondering why I’m making so much of a fuss regarding big chops. Well, it’s simply because going natural is not just a fad or a phase, I think it has become more than that. I see it as a conscious decision to live a more wholesome life. We have so much to worry about these days from the pesticides in our food to GMOs, well relaxers are one thing these amazing ladies won’t have to think about!

Now, they get to tone their biceps as they DETANGLE… *muahaha!*

I’ve got my eyes on Lade of Hairducation next *insert mischievous wink here*

On a serious note, if you still have relaxed/texlaxed hair, the resources on the blogs of these amazing women will guide you to a very healthy hair journey. I promise. Please be sure to check out their blog, you won’t regret it!

For the relaxed/texlaxed beauties reading this, are you considering having your big chop soon? What are your thoughts?
